Q: On the (black) front and rear hoods of the Montecarlo there is supposed to be a small sticker resembling the Rallye Montecarlo logo. When I bougt the car, the rear one was still in place and not painted over. It was black and white. The previous owner also gave me what today is sold as a reprint of the original. Much to my surprise it is red and silver! Also I have seen two different versions of where to place the front sticker, either in the middle or to the right side. So until today I didn't put them on the car at all rather than finding out later that it was wrong. It would be great if you could mail me any pictures of an original Fulvia Montecarlo or tell me where to find them!

A: The precise location and shape of the Montecarlo sticker are found in period photographs which appear in various books of Lancias during the 70s. I have always seen stickers in red and silver colours placed on the side of the hood.
